When you were younger, you were probably introduced to one of the “big” burger brands from the western world. Maybe their mascot wore a crown, or maybe it was a scary clown and his gang. Either way, you went, you ate, you didn’t question it because, at the time, a burger was a burger and you may, or may not, have received a toy with your “meal” as well..
Somewhere along the way, you grew up and started (maybe) trying to make healthier choices in your life. You, might not have changed brands, but you bought into their new “healthy” menu offerings – so you had the salad, the veggie burger, avoided fried foods at all costs – and went on thinking you were doing a good thing by missing out on all the delicious evil that lurked in every burger.
And you realized that life was boring because, after all, there’s no way that healthy food can be good too, right? You’ve maintained your “healthy” sensibilities and while your friends enjoy their fries, you’ll enjoy – whatever it is that you enjoy. Because that’s the prudent thing to do, right?
